Vein Conditions

Comprehensive Venous Diagnosis and Treatment

Problems due to vein disorders usually occur due to failure of one-way valves in the veins (venous insufficiency), clotting within the veins, or blockage of venous flow. A detailed review of symptoms, clinical history, a physical examination, and, often, venous color duplex ultrasound examination are necessary to determine the conditions present in order to develop a treatment plan specific to the unique needs of each patient.
